Our clients often ask us to help them “refresh” a room and we will strive to give a tired space a little lift. This Spring, we at SCL thought it was time to hit the refresh button ourselves!
As with many projects, sometimes changing one or two elements in a room can make a big difference. Our Studio was in desperate need of a new conference table and chairs. The old pieces had served us well for 25 years, but it was time for a change!
Kim still liked the look and function of the round conference table, but decided it needed a new skirt. She fell in love with the fabric from Schumacher during a visit with our rep and ordered it the next day. Kim’s creed is “the devil is in the details” so she added a wonderful brush fringe–also from Schumacher. Virginia Quilting fabricated this beautiful skirt and we love it.
It was also time to replace the chairs. We chose a winner from Wesley Hall. The Mira Chair is one of their top sellers, with its sophisticated silhouette, soft tapered leg and decorative nail trim. We upholstered the chairs in a lovely neutral linen.
